catsOver the past few years the emphasis in veterinary medicine has turned from "fix the problem" to prevention or early detection. That means that our traditional annual examinations just are not enough and that a lot can change in a whole calendar year.

What is Wellness? The objective of a pet wellness program is to prevent or minimize disease or injury, enhance the quality of life, and maximize longevity through:

  • Routine screenings of multiple physiological systems
  • Regular physical examinations
  • Ongoing communication between the veterinarian and the pet owner
  • Maintenance of the doctor-client relationship
